Job summary We are looking to appoint a dynamic Consultant Urogynaecologist and Obstetrician to complement our existing team. This is a replacement post. The Urogynaecology team have British Society of Urogynaecology accreditation and we are looking to appoint a dynamic urogynaecology consultant as a second consultant for this service. The team, in addition to two consultants, includes a clinical nurse consultant in urogynaecology, a urogynaecology nurse, support from two woman's health physiotherapists within the physiotherapy department, a health care assistant and a dedicated administrative co-ordinator. The unit offers all levels of care from diagnostics to conservative and surgical treatment of pelvic floor disorders. The successful candidate will be expected to be actively involved in our local and regional MDT, having a close working relationship with the colorectal and urology teams. It is anticipated that the successful candidate will further support the development this service to a high standard and enable it to become a centre of excellence.
