We are seeking a dedicated Asset Data Technician to join our Property Operations team. The successful candidate will be supporting the delivery of tactical and strategic business objectives through the analysis of property and asset data.
This role involves identifying and capturing data to build asset databases, addressing data gaps, and working closely with the business unit. The technician will be responsible for creating reports and dashboards using business analytics and reporting tools, providing critical insights that inform business and budget decisions, support business cases, and strategic initiatives.

The key accountabilities for the role are:
* Asset Management: Support the team in identifying and managing assets, using data to manage asset renewal plans and build budgets.
* Risk Identification: Utilise asset data to identify risk, escalate, and drive process improvements.
* Governance: Using SharePoint to ensure processes are aligned and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Local Operating Procedures (LOPs) remain up to date.
* Data Reporting: Create and prepare reports and dashboards using business analytics tools, ensuring data integrity to enable effective business decisions and long-term planning.
* Contract Support: Assist in tendering contracts by providing accurate asset data.
* Business Case Development: Support the team in writing business cases for asset data management, tracking benefits delivery.
* Innovation and Improvement: Participate in innovation programmes to improve asset data and management practices.
* Data Integration: Ensure robust data is accurately stored and reported.
* Process Standardisation: Use data to help standardise and automate processes through continuous improvement initiatives.
* Data Accuracy: Complete data clashing to ensure consistency across related data sets and resolve errors with other data owners.
* Performance Metrics: Ensure performance metrics are accurate and delivered on time.
* Insight and Analysis: Provide compelling insight and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and support business improvements.
* Compliance and Control: Provide process compliance, control oversight, and corrective mitigation to prevent control weaknesses.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE
We are seeking a skilled professional with a comprehensive understanding of systems and processes used across the Property team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in data analysis, capable of building datasets and interpreting data to form conclusions and make actionable recommendations. Experience in providing exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers is essential.
The successful candidate will have a history of identifying and delivering continuous improvement activities, ensuring data accuracy and compliance through meticulous auditing. Technical proficiency in MS Office, SAP ECC, Power BI, SharePoint, and Winshuttle is required. The candidate should also have experience in developing and analysing reports, with strong problem-solving skills to diagnose business issues and deliver performance improvements. Risk management experience, including identifying and mitigating risk, is necessary.
Experience in process mapping and developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) is necessary. The candidate should possess strong analytical skills to interpret data for reporting and decision-making. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential, enabling effective engagement with stakeholders at different levels. The ideal candidate will have exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to plan, organise and prioritise workload effectively. A methodical approach with excellent attention to detail is required, along with the ability to work well under pressure while remaining patient and calm. Good commercial awareness is also important.
