Job Description
We are seeking a Group Health and Safety Manager to join our client, a leading manufacturer and supplier of high-performance technical textiles.
Location: Rochdale, UK
The Group Health and Safety Manager will be responsible for managing manufacturing facilities, ensuring health and safety compliance, and supporting ISO9001 quality initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage training records and plans for all employees;
* Conduct regular audits to identify and mitigate potential hazards;
* Develop and implement effective health and safety policies and procedures;
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of health and safety initiatives;
* Maintain accurate records of incidents, near misses, and health and safety metrics.
Requirements:
* Degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field;
* Proven experience in health and safety management in a manufacturing environment;
* Excellent communication and leadership skills;
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment;
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Estimated Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum depending on experience.
