An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Prevention department for a Community Safety Administrator.
Community Safety Administrator
Contract: Fixed term contract for 6 months
Salary: Grade 3 (£24,790 - £25,183) £19,832 - £20,146 pro rata
Hours: Part time 29.6 hours per week over 4 days*
Work Pattern: Flexi Time Days to be confirmed
Location: Lifewise Centre in Rotherham and Service Headquarters in Sheffield

* Occasional work at other locations may be necessary
You will work as a member of a team to provide a professional, efficient and effective administrative service to SYFR's Prevention Department. The role will include planning work routines including booking of school visits, training and attendance at events. You will also engage with members of the community wishing to access Prevention services.
To be considered for this role you will have previous experience or knowledge of:
* Experience of customer focused administration service
* Working knowledge of MS Office Applications including Word, Excel and Outlook
* Ability to communicate effectively
The Key Duties Will Include:
* Planning of prevention activities
* Effectively manage multiple email inboxes
* Process referrals for Home Fire Safety Visits
* Minute taking
New starters will commence on the bottom of the salary grade and will receive increases to the top of the grade on an incremental basis. We offer 28 days annual leave (pro-rata) plus Bank Holidays. Annual leave increases after 5 years service to 32 days, followed by an extra day a year up to a maximum of 37 days. We also operate a generous flexi time attendance scheme.
