Optical Express is currently looking for an Administrator to join our HR Team. The HR Administrator will be responsible for administration and correspondence with employees. Good time management skills are essential for this role, as well as excellent attention to detail. The HR Administrator will utilise their excellent interpersonal and administration skills to ensure that all communications with employees are to the required standard.

ACES is an independent NHS eye care provider that aims to treat patients efficiently, providing NHS cataract treatment within 4 weeks from pre-assessment whilst aiding the burden on the NHS due to ever-growing waiting lists.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Answering telephone calls and providing guidance on general HR-related queries, escalating as appropriate.
2. Keeping HR trackers up to date.
3. Preparation of written employee correspondence.
4. Acting as the key point of contact for HR matters and conducting administrative tasks as required for this area of the business.
5. Assisting with People projects and reports alongside day-to-day tasks.
6. Carrying out general administration tasks to ensure employee files are kept up to date, acknowledging resignations; writing contracts of employment; supporting the onboarding/offboarding processes, etc.
7. To carry out duties as directed by the HR Manager.
8. Ensuring confidentiality and security in accordance with the Data Protection Act and in line with GDPR.
9. Meticulous attention to detail.
10. Adaptable with a flexible approach to work.
11. Demonstrates confidentiality, integrity, and discretion.
12. Resilient with the ability to perform under pressure and to tight deadlines.
13. A team player who can work well independently and use their own initiative.
14. Able to prioritise competing and varied demands.
15. Proficient with Microsoft Office and Outlook.
16. Previous experience in HR Administration.
