Flexible Teaching Assistant Position

Daily rates - £90 - £100 per day
Have you just finished your university degree in criminology or psychology and are looking for your next career move? We are seeking a dedicated teaching assistant to support pupils with additional learning needs (SEMH). This role will be working with students between the ages of 5-16. This role is ideal for someone passionate about education and making a difference in children's lives, particularly in social, emotional, and mental health.
What you'll do?
1. Support children with SEMH either one-on-one or in small groups.
2. Enjoy the flexibility of being able to choose which day you work.
3. Support the classroom teacher in delivering lessons and activities tailored to the needs of the students.
4. Assist in the implementation of education, health and care plans (EHCPs).
5. Help create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
Who we are looking for?
1. Someone with a passion for working with children with additional needs.
2. Graduates with a background in psychology, criminology, or sports coaching.
3. Experience isn't required; passion and determination are what we value!
4. Personal SEN experience (family and friends).
