Job summary We are looking for an H&S Team Assistant to join our busy Respiratory Protective Equipment Team at the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital and the Princess Royal Hospital. Main duties of the job The post holder will undertake respiratory protective equipment (RPE) face fit testing using Accufit and Portacount machines, in support of colleagues whose work requires protection from infection or chemical exposures. The post holder will undertake administration duties supporting face fit testing, including entering information into ESR, and supporting Ward and Department Managers to arrange repeat fit testing appointments. From time to time the post holder will work in Trust workplaces to support staff who wear RPE for biological and chemical protection, undertaking monitoring activities.
