In This Role, You Will
1. Perform complex test procedures, recording and reporting outcomes with accuracy.
2. Offer specialist technical advice to service users and support the department's clinical and technical excellence.
3. Train and mentor trainees and support staff, ensuring optimal use of resources.
4. Deputise for senior staff when required, ensuring the smooth running of the department.
5. Participate in both routine and specialised tasks within the Cellular Pathology department, adhering closely to departmental protocols.
6. Involve in departmental research projects, contributing to our commitment to scientific advancement and excellence.
As a registered Biomedical Scientist, you will maintain your professional and technical competencies through mandatory Continuing Professional Development (CPD) in line with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) requirements. Upholding the standards of the Trust, HCPC, and the Institute of Biomedical Science (IBMS) is essential to this role.
