TITLE: Business Development Manager / Technical Sales Executive – Liquid Waste
LOCATION: Area role covering the North East
ROLE: Business Development Manager / Technical Sales Executive – Liquid Waste
You will focus on securing profitable contracts for liquid waste management services and large one-off jobs in the surrounding area, including Tankered Services. You will collaborate with the technical team to ensure smooth handling of materials through the business.
Your responsibilities will include:
1. Cold calling and generating leads.
2. Following up on inquiries to maintain a robust sales pipeline.
3. Delivering presentations and offering consultations.
4. Presenting solution-based pitches to potential clients.
EXPERIENCE: Business Development Manager / Technical Sales Manager – Liquid Waste
You will have experience delivering vs target in a similar new business role selling waste management or brokered waste services. You should possess a solid technical understanding and be able to effectively communicate with a technical team. Your exposure to hazardous waste should be sufficient to comprehend the requirements of pre-acceptance.
You will be happy to commute regionally but also spend 2 days a week at the depot. A UK driving licence is essential.
Any chemistry-based qualifications are a plus, but the focus will be on sales skills.
