Stepping into the role of Private Tax Assistant Manager, you'll support senior staff by offering top-notch tax advice and helping teams meet their goals.
Role Summary:
* Professional Development: Maintain and enhance skills needed to provide excellent client services, boosting the company's reputation.
* Team Leadership: Guide and develop team members, conduct performance reviews, set goals, and hold regular check-ins.
* Client Portfolio: Oversee client portfolios, ensuring high-quality service delivery and adherence to budgets.
* Collaboration: Partner with team members to identify client needs and ensure project efficiency. Keep senior staff updated and escalate issues as necessary.
* Business Expansion: Network to find new clients, identify business opportunities, participate in marketing, and prepare tender documents.
Skills and Experience Required:
* Qualified (ACA, ACCA, CTA, or ATT) with a minimum of two years post-qualification experience.
* Strong communication and collaboration skills.
* Experience with inheritance tax, capital gains, allowances, trusts, income tax, and incorporation.
* Proven team and client management abilities.
* Proficient with Microsoft Office 365.
* Organized with good time and budget management.
* Self-driven for continuous learning and development.
