About the role
The Head of Growth Marketing is a senior strategic leader for Worldpay's UK SMB segment, responsible for driving customer acquisition, conversion, and revenue growth through innovative marketing strategies, leveraging data-driven insights, and optimizing digital marketing channels.
The Head of Growth Marketing strategizes and oversees the execution of marketing initiatives aimed at driving business growth of new SMB customers as well as expand the revenue of existing customers. This role involves a blend of creative marketing strategies and analytical approaches to boost user acquisition, engagement, and retention. Additionally, it will focus on identifying and tapping into new growth opportunities, optimizing marketing channels, and aligning marketing efforts with the company's broader business goals.
What you'll Own
1. Leads the development and execution of high scale growth-focused marketing strategies including the cross functional, internal and external resources for various programs, including content, SEO, SEM, digital, social media, email campaigns, and partner marketing.
2. Establishes targets for user acquisition, activation, and retention, and for driving revenue growth through both sales channels and self-service and traditional sales channels. This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure that marketing strategies are integrated with product development and sales objectives.
3. Leverages data analytics to assess campaign performance, optimize strategies, and make informed decisions to lower customer acquisition costs while increasing customer lifetime value.
4. Aligns with finance resources to ensure performance metrics are clearly aligning with ROI and LTV:CAC ratios.
5. Works with central resources to ensure the martech stack is optimized for maximum efficiency.
6. Collaborates with sales teams to ensure capacity and routing efficiency for inbound marketing efforts to convert effectively and conversion rates.
7. Assesses the competition and directs the content and creative requirements to meet conversion targets. This includes designing optimal competitive promotions, messages and offers to attract leads and convert them.
What you bring
1. 10 years of growth marketing experience, with a focus on demand generation, growth marketing, and digital acquisition.
2. Strong analytical skills and data-driven mindset.
3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
4. 5+ years of experience in building, managing, and leading teams.
5. Familiarity with a range of mar-tech and analytics tools.
6. Experience in campaign development and execution.
7. Strong SEO and SEM skills.
8. Preferred: Experience in payments/merchant acquisition/ POS industry.
9. Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field.
