Job summary This is an exciting opportunity to join the growing CDIO Office team whose primary role is to support the Digital, Data and Technology Services directorate at NHS Blood and Transplant (NHSBT). NHSBT is responsible for supplying enough safe blood to hospitals in England and North Wales and providing tissues and solid organs to hospitals across the UK. Main duties of the job In this you will be responsible for assisting the CDIO office execute a number of critical cross Directorate processes by providing comprehensive administrative support. Your responsibilities will include: Management of the administrative function of the CDIO Office. Leading on internal communications to & on behalf of the DDTS directorate Collection and analysis a wide range of data relating to DDTS systems, plans and performance. To report on the data through a variety of media in an effective and meaningful way, including advising on the limitations of the existing data. Co-ordinate and promote D&I initiatives across the directorate. Working autonomously, exercising a high degree of independent judgement and initiative, be able to work under pressure, maintaining accuracy and with the ability to manage, prioritise and re-prioritise their own workload. Development of successful working relationships with the Assistant Director of Programme and Project Delivery, the DDTS SMT (Senior Management Team), all DDTS Directorate members and key stakeholders, which will require tact, discretion, excellent communication skills, independent judgement, and initiative to achieve the desired outcome. Occasionally, you will be required to travel to other NHSBT sites and attend conference events. Some events may necessitate an overnight stay, for which you will receive prior notice.
