Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care and will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing care plans, and administering medications. This role is vital in ensuring the well-being of patients in various healthcare settings.
Duties
1. Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ health status, including physical examinations and medical histories.
2. Develop and implement individualised care plans based on patient needs and medical conditions.
3. Administer medications and monitor patients for side effects or adverse reactions.
4. Provide direct patient care, including wound care, IV therapy, and assistance with daily living activities.
5. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
6. Educate patients and their families about health management, treatment plans, and medication administration.
7. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with regulatory standards.
8. Adhere to infection control protocols and ensure a safe environment for patients.
Experience
1. A valid nursing qualification and registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
2. Proven experience in medication administration and patient care within a clinical setting.
3. Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology to effectively assess patient conditions.
4. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with patients, families, and colleagues effectively.
5. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high standard of care.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £20.25 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 per week
