The role will work with the business Operation to help improve decision making through the provision of timely and accurate financial information. Job Description Regional Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports, including regional profit and loss to Operating Profit, balance sheet extracts and variance analyses. Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the development of departmental annual budgets and financial forecasts, monitoring performance against these benchmarks. Cost Analysis: Analyse costs and expenditures to ensure efficient resource utilization and identify opportunities for cost savings. Work with operations to Identify Gross Margin and Operating Profit improvement initiatives including Fleet Management. Financial Planning: Develop financial models to support strategic decision-making and business planning. Worling Capital/ Cash Flow Management: Monitor and forecast Business Unit cash flow to ensure sufficient liquidity for operations and investments. Variance Analysis: Conduct in-depth analyses to explain deviations between actual and budgeted performance, identifying key financial drivers. Performance Metrics: Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess business performance and recommend improvements. Collaboration: Work closely with various business units/ departments, providing financial insights to support operational decisions. Help operations improve processes and procedures in readiness for the planned growth. Ensure responsibilities specific to your role as detailed within BKH L006 Health Safety and Environment Policy are complied with Requirements for Role Educational Background: A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional Certification: Part-qualified or fully qualified accountant (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA). Experience: Proven experience in management accounting or a similar role. Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards. Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical abilities with attention to detail.
