We're Looking for a Dynamic Operations Supervisor!
Join our vibrant team at Hesdin Estate! We’re seeking an enthusiastic and proactive Operations Supervisor to be the backbone of our guest experience. In this role, you’ll coordinate the efforts of our Guest Crew, Maintenance, and Housekeeping teams to create unforgettable experiences for our guests.
Mondays & Fridays – 16 hours (with additional hours available during the week)
Your Daily Duties Will Include:
* Managing daily operations smoothly, assigning team duties, particularly during busy changeover days.
* Leading our Head Housekeeper, Guest Crew, and Maintenance teams to ensure exceptional guest satisfaction.
* Reporting and tracking maintenance issues promptly, while maintaining detailed records of schedules, inspections, and requests.
Staff Management:
* Assisting in recruitment and conducting one-to-one reviews for new housekeeping staff, embodying the “Hesdin way.”
* Creating and managing work schedules, conducting performance reviews, and providing constructive feedback.
* Addressing and supporting staff concerns, fostering a positive, collaborative work environment.
Quality Control:
* Performing regular inspections of homes and gardens to ensure high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
* Efficiently handling guest cleanliness complaints, ensuring swift resolution.
* Ensuring health and safety compliance with regular checks on fire alarms and portable appliances.
* Conducting ongoing safety training for the team.
Operational Responsibilities:
* Managing linen and laundry duties, overseeing stock levels, and coordinating with suppliers.
* Documenting lost and found items accurately.
* Leading regular team meetings to share updates, address issues, and foster team growth.
* Continuously seeking opportunities to enhance cleaning efficiency and guest satisfaction.
What We're Looking For:
* Strong administrative and IT skills, with proficiency in scheduling software and databases.
* Proven experience in operations, ideally within hospitality.
* Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
* Outstanding leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Conflict-resolution skills and the ability to mediate effectively.
