Our service functions operationally across the region, rather than locality based. Main duties: As the Team Manager you will lead a regional team responsible for the recruitment, training, assessment and early support of prospective adopters. You will need to monitor and develop service delivery and practice, as well as report on and measure performance against national standards. You will report to the Service Manager and be supported by Deputy Team managers. You will need: A Social Work Qualification (degree or equivalent) and current registration with Social Work England At least two years’ experience relevant to adoption within the past five years, At least one years’ experience supervising and managing professional staff In-depth knowledge and experience of childcare law and practice. The ability to analyse complex information to make recommendations and informed decisions Competent IT skills To be able to drive and have access to a vehicle in order to travel around the region when required. This role is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and will require an Enhanced DBS check before appointment can be confirmed.
