Vision for Education are seeking a KS1 Primary Teacher to join one of our excellent partner schools in the Seaforth area, Sefton, on a full-time temporary contract. They are a small one-form entry school who have an inclusive, nurturing community committed to empowering every child to achieve their full potential. The Role:
As a Year 1 teacher, you will take on the responsibilities of a full-time class teacher. You will need to plan, prepare, and deliver exciting lessons, whilst assessing your pupil's progress, ensuring they receive a high standard of education and support as they begin their formal learning journey
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons in literacy, numeracy, and other key areas tailored for Year 1 pupils.
Monitor and assess pupils’ progress, providing timely feedback and adapting teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs.
Establish and maintain a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that promotes respect, learning, and social development.
ork collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents to ensure a cohesive approach to each pupil’s educational journey.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): Must hold a recognized teaching qualification, with specific experience or training in early years/Key Stage 1 education.
Previous experience teaching Year 1 or similar age groups, with a proven ability to deliver engaging and effective lessons.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and staff.
A strong passion for teaching and a commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
A commitment to supporting the ethos of the school.
Reliability, punctuality, and a proactive approach to professional responsibilities.
