About this prestigious role: The Director of Transformation & Innovation, part of the NI Water Executive Committee, shares responsibility for leading and managing NI Water's services effectively, ensuring value for money. This strategic role involves crafting and implementing strategies to achieve the corporate vision of being a world-class water utility and advancing priorities in Customer, Water, Economy, Nature, and People. You will take strategic responsibility and provide leadership for NI Water's transformation and innovation programmes, ensuring an ambitious, enterprise-wide approach is developed to achieve agreed targets. You will be a champion for creativity across the company, driving efficiency, improving value for money and developing new, world-class ways of working. The post-holder will establish an innovation framework that encourages creative thinking and the generation of new ideas across the company, ensuring oversight of an innovation pipeline with a steady flow of projects from ideation to implementation. In this regard, you will work closely with those reporting to the Director of Engineering and Sustainability and charged with developing and delivering innovation projects centred on science and engineering initiatives. The post holder will support the business in proactively identifying opportunities to advance NI Water's strategy and vision through change initiatives that will deliver and embed measurable business improvement. The person: Qualified to degree level with 5 years' relevant, senior leadership experience or have 7 years' relevant, senior leadership experience With specific reference to dates, 5 years' significant, relevant and successful experience of: Responsibility for large budgets, continuously identifying and realising opportunities for cost savings and service improvement to deliver the greatest benefit to customers and other stakeholders. Setting and delivering major strategies for innovation and transformation, within a complex, multi-stakeholder environment, working with and engaging constructively with a range of internal & external stakeholders at all levels to deliver measurable improvements in business performance (e.g. cost savings, productivity metrics etc.) Reporting at Board/Senior Leadership level, including presentation of business strategies, policy or investment decisions. Working in collaborative partnerships and influencing and negotiating all levels, both internally and externally, with key stakeholders. Demonstrable experience in the end-to-end delivery of substantial programme and project management.
