Role Overview: They are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Chef de Rang/Waiter/Waitress to join the dynamic front-of-house team. As a Chef de Rang, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that guests receive world-class service from the moment they arrive until they leave. You will work closely with our kitchen and sommelier teams to deliver a seamless dining experience that exceeds expectations. Basically providing a warm and lovely front of house service.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide outstanding table service, ensuring all guests' needs are met with professionalism and efficiency.
* Manage a section of the dining room, including the setup and breakdown of tables and stations.
* Communicate effectively with the kitchen and sommelier teams to ensure the smooth delivery of food and beverages.
* Assist with the presentation of dishes, explaining menu items, and making recommendations to guests.
* Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and organization in your section.
* Mentor and support junior members of the team, helping to foster a positive and collaborative working environment.
* Stay up-to-date with menu changes, daily specials, and any other relevant restaurant information.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Chef de Rang or in a similar role within a fine dining or Michelin-starred restaurant, or just be someone who wants to do this as a career (the rest we can train).
* Exceptional attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality service.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with guests and colleagues alike.
* A solid understanding of food and beverage pairings, with a keen interest in expanding your knowledge.
* Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
* A positive attitude, a team player mentality, and a willingness to go the extra mile.
