We have an open position for a Software Tester in Durham, UK. In this role, you will be responsible for the testing process end to end (defining, creating, executing, documenting results, tracking issues over time, etc.) for X-ray metrology tools and applications developed by the software group. You will also be responsible for maintaining all test cases and test documents (STP, STR, etc), using relevant methodologies and tools, as required. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND EXPECTATIONS INCLUDE: Execute manual testing for newly released software components Execute testing in all required levels (sanity, regression, system, performance, etc.) for new software releases Participate in technical requirements and design reviews, provide feedback from a testing point of view Work closely with software engineers in the resolution of problems Define new tests and update existing ones, to meet the requirements Execute automated testing Analyze test results to ensure existing functionality and assist in pin-pointing issues H ighly skilled Manual Software Tester with over two years of experience in manual testing. Solid working knowledge of software development lifecycle and testing lifecycle, including relevant documentation Hands-on experience in software testing of large-scale systems Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Experience with industry standard tools such as: TFS, Office.
