Farrow and Ball – IT Operations Support Technician, Wimborne We are currently looking for a self-motivated, enthusiastic individual to join our IT team in Wimborne as an IT Operations Support Technician. We are offering this position on a full-time basis. The role will initially be onsite (during training), followed by a long-term hybrid model. The IT Operations Team are primarily responsible for the setup, management and support of F&B’s global network and infrastructure. As the IT Operations Support Technician, you will be responsible for resolving service requests from end users and will assist in the delivery of IT improvement projects. What we expect from you as our IT Operations Support Technician: Key Responsibilities: Helping to quickly resolve service requests from end users. Infrastructure and System performance checks and auditing Fixing and moving IT equipment Monitoring of daily backup routines and flag exceptions Shipping and procuring IT equipment to external users / sites. Ensuring IT cabling, storage areas and workspaces meet F&B standards. Asset Management of IT kit across the business using our Asset Management software Patching and cabling across IT estate Assist in the delivery of IT improvement projects to improve service, experience, or reduce costs to the business. Undertake training and follow mentoring as specified. Key Skills/Experience: Some experience working in an IT service environment, meeting and exceeding SLAs Experience with Microsoft O365 applications (specifically Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook and Teams Previous exposure to Azure (desirable) Experience with Server and Desktop Patching via a Remote management solution (InTune/SCCM) (desirable) Key Attributes: A genuine desire to learn and to build a career in IT Enthusiastic, and hardworking Positive, highly self-motivating, have a can-do attitude and not be afraid to ask questions Able to identify with, and demonstrate affinity with F&B’s core values (Pioneering, Extraordinary and True) To align with and contribute to a small, focussed team quickly.
