Account ManagerReports to: Sales ManagerLocation: Hills Prospect, Romford (covering The City and E postcodes)OverviewAs an Account Manager, you will be responsible for delivering the pre-agreed budgeted margin within your designated postcode area. Your role will focus on increasing the number of trading accounts by meeting new business targets, retaining existing customers, and growing spend per account through category upselling. Additionally, you will act as a key representative of the company—both to the market and as a voice for the market within the company.Key ResponsibilitiesAchieve and exceed your contribution to the depot gross margin.Manage the debt ledger for your area, ensuring correct completion of account forms and timely collection of cash and cheques where required.Meet or exceed targets on drive brands in partnership with brand representatives.Consistently deliver outstanding customer service across all touchpoints.Take full ownership of your accounts from initial engagement through ongoing management.Collaborate effectively with internal departments, including telesales, credit control, sales support, distribution, and administration.Organise technical installations for draught beer dispensing equipment.Provide impartial and strategic advice on promotional activities to help customers grow their businesses.Work closely with brand representatives in your area to enhance sales and promotions.Actively promote and drive sales of LWC Drinks' own brand products.Skills & Experience RequiredStrong customer service and relationship-building skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data management and reporting.Excellent teamwork and communication abilities.In-depth knowledge of the drinks industry, products, and on-trade market.WSET Level 1 certification preferred.Previous commercial sales experience in the wine industry (on-trade experience preferred).Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales and growth targets.RequirementsPrevious territory sales experience.Drinks industry experience preferred but not essential.WSET Wines & Spirits qualification is desirable but not essential.Background in hospitality, particularly those already working in the area, would be an advantage.About LWC Drinks LtdLWC Drinks Ltd supplies licensed establishments with a full range of bar and sundry supplies.
