Job Description:
Position: Assistant Shop Manager
Salary: £11.64 per hour
Hours: 22.5 hours per week (3 days over 7 including weekends)
Our new Boroughbridge Shop is looking for a passionate individual with retail experience to join our team as an Assistant Shop Manager. You will support the Shop Manager in maintaining a top-quality sales culture, developing shop plans, and enhancing the customer service experience.
Your responsibilities include:
1. Providing encouragement and support for the team of volunteers.
2. Building a welcoming atmosphere and fostering a committed customer base to boost shop growth.
3. Demonstrating a keen eye for merchandising and helping pre-loved goods find new homes.
4. Aiming to reach key performance indicators and using creativity to develop strategies to meet them.
5. Taking charge of day-to-day operations in the absence of the Shop Manager, maintaining standards across all aspects of the shop, and managing the budget.
The successful candidate will possess:
1. Fashion retail experience and customer service skills.
2. Innovative thinking and openness to new methods for boosting sales and cutting costs.
3. Strong organizational and leadership skills.
4. Ability to strengthen interpersonal relationships to empower staff while maintaining an efficient retail environment.
