About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated English Teacher to join our secondary school in Leeds. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality English lessons to KS3 and KS4 students, fostering their creativity and critical thinking skills. Position Details
* Location : Leeds
* Contract : Full time role
* Pay Rate : £150 - £223 per day (UPS rates will be considered)
Essential Requirements
* QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent teaching qualification.
* Eligibility to work in the UK.
* Excellent classroom management skills.
* An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).

Responsibilities
* Foster a love of reading, writing, and critical thinking in your students.
* Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where every student can thrive.
* Assess, mark, and provide constructive feedback to the students
* Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum plans and share teaching strategies or resources.
* Incorporate technology into lessons, using digital platforms and tools to enhance learning and communication.
* Formative and summative assessment
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of teaching practices and subject matter.
* Participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and ongoing professional development.
* Engage with parents, carers, and the wider school community to promote positive relationships and student success
