As part of our Intelligence Coordination team, this role delivers several key processes to support the effective operation of the Threat Intelligence function. Key responsibilities include Being responsible for the onboarding & offboarding and managing threat intelligence related vendors, monitoring their performance through KPIs to ensure they continue to meet the requirements of the Barclays threat intelligence team in response to the evolving threat landscape and strategic direction. Running Proof of Concepts with prospective new vendors and briefing senior leadership on key developments regarding threat intelligence related vendors.
To be successful as a Security Intelligence Analyst, you should have experience with:
Experience in the management and payment of invoices and purchase order processes
project management and vendor procurement
Strong writing and briefing skills.
Strong working knowledge of MS Office in particular MS Excel
Working knowledge of Process Unity, Coupa, Confluence, PLC procurement management systems/tools
Experience working in one or more of our threat missions - Cybersecurity, Insider Threat, Fraud, Geopolitics, Physical Security, Supply-Chain Threats, and/or Emerging Technologies
Experience in working in a regulated financial environment

To monitor the performance of operational controls, implement and manage security controls and consider lessons learnt in order to protect the bank from potential cyber-attacks and respond to threats.
Management of security monitoring systems, including intrusive prevention and detection systems, to alert, detect and block potential cyber security incidents, and provide a prompt response to restore normal operations with minimised system damage.
Identification of emerging cyber security threats, attack techniques and technologies to detect/prevent incidents, and collaborate with networks and conferences to gain industry knowledge and expertise.
Management and analysis of security information and event management systems to collect, correlate and analyse security logs, events and alerts/potential threats.
Triage of data loss prevention alerts to identify and prevent sensitive data for being exfiltrated from the banks network.
Management of cyber security incidents including remediation & driving to closure.
