SEN Teaching Assistant Role: Implement strategies to support students with diverse special needs particularly those with autism or social and emotional needs to help them reach their maximum potential. Top of Form Requirements for SEN Teaching Assistant role: Experience working with children with special educational needs, particularly those with autism or social and emotional needs. Knowledge of and experience with behaviour management strategies. Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate effectively with parents and other professionals. A patient and nurturing approach to working with children. Ability to adapt and be flexible in a fast-paced and changing environment.
