Apple is seeking a Programme Manager for Business Markets, part of our Product Marketing and broader Europe Marketing team. We believe that when people have the best tools they do their best work. The Programme Manager delivers on this through the successful execution of business marketing programmes that inspire and educate businesses to adopt Apple products and use them to their full potential. This person will work with business collaborators across Product Marketing, Marcom, PR, as well as the sales and field marketing teams in Channel, Carrier, System Engineering, and Apple Retail. A crucial part of the role is to build close relationships that facilitate marketing goals and drive Apple messaging. There is a significant technical element to the role. The successful candidate should have a grounding in business technologies, be able to articulate the advantages of the Apple platform, and understand the major technology vendors’ business propositions.
Description
Working with the head of Business Markets Europe and the rest of the worldwide team to build the overall strategy and development of programmes for the adoption of the Apple platform in business. Create the annual strategic plan and deliver against it, working cross-functionally to ensure consistency. Implement integrated marketing programmes and campaigns. Articulate the product opportunity in market and use market research and analysis to provide product insight and thought leadership. Responsible for programme deliverables, including messaging, presentations, and marketing assets, overseeing execution, and monitoring adoption. Managing the localisation of customer-facing assets, including budgeting and reporting. Discovery and qualification of compelling customer stories, then working closely with the Business Markets Producer to ensure an optimum range of deliverables. Supporting briefings and meetings and delivering key presentations to customer audiences. Be the regional point of contact for the direct and channel business development and marketing teams, ensuring they receive the messaging, assets, tools and programmes consistent with worldwide strategy. Identifying and tracking market metrics that demonstrate Apple momentum in business. Identifying and spreading best practice between the multiple business partners and routes to market.
Minimum Qualifications
* Knowledge of business trends, awareness of market dynamics and competitive landscape, and an excellent understanding of the main technology players in this space and the business ecosystem in general.
* Marketing programme experience (channel, regional/country, product, corporate, customer/demand generation/referencing/PR).
* Fluent in English with superlative written and verbal communication skills as well as strong presentation skills.
* Ability to influence senior stakeholders both internally and externally.
* A capable copywriter.
* A track record of high quality delivery to tight deadlines.
* Self-starter, confident and able to work independently with minimum supervision.
* Able to manage multiple requests and prioritise accordingly.
* Highly analytical and disciplined.
* Able to think and plan strategically, then follow through to execution.
* Resourceful, creative, and results-oriented with high energy and a positive attitude.
Preferred Qualifications
* Marketing management experience in corporate/subsidiary environments and also internationally.
* Ability to interact efficiently in a corporate environment and build influence in a matrixed organisation.
* Knowledge of another European language would be advantageous.
* Degree (or equivalent) in Marketing, business or related discipline.
