We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivate and hardworking nurse to join our exciting research team at Imperial Clinical Respiratory Research Unit who are currently supporting a multitude of research portfolios. The post offers an ideal opportunity for an enthusiastic individual who has a wish to further develop their nursing career within the dynamic area of Respiratory Research. The appointee will have the opportunity to work with a team specialising in respiratory conditions such as Asthma, Tuberculosis, Interstitial lung disease, Pleural, COPD and Chronic Cough. The research portfolio includes an exciting range of commercial and academic clinical research studies. The clinical research studies include observational and complex interventional studies. You will have regular contact and support from a small team of closely involved Principal Investigators, and will work closely with the team looking after the clinical care of these patients. We are an enthusiastic, welcoming and dynamic team.
• You will work collaboratively with the research team and the wider multidisciplinary team in the management of your own caseload of research patients. You will act as a knowledgeable resource for staff, researchers, research participants and patients, alongside a working knowledge and compliance with local, national and international research regulations.
• You will contribute to the development of local policies related to all aspects of the research process and contribute to the training and supervision of staff and researchers. You will contribute to nurse-led research.
