As a Category Manager, you’ll be part of a team aiming to create and produce products with purpose that can be utilized across the global business. In this role, you’ll create a plan that gathers information and insight to drive positive change. You’ll build your understanding of the products we offer and enable a constant pipeline of great solutions through collaborative working, driving outcomes that are right for our customers, partners, the Group, and our planet. You’ll be the key driver of change by aligning a plan that ensures we source the right products with the right supplier partners and then help to execute across the global business.
Collaboration is key, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to drive a greater focus on data quality and its use as part of developing better category knowledge. You’ll own the detail and support the strategy for the global audiology category, approaching topics with energy and curiosity while fully embracing the Specsavers process.
Supporting the development of the online offer alongside our traditional in-store, service-led offer, you’ll find ways to create seamless product stories, making sure our offer meets the needs of customers while remaining commercially relevant. You’ll work alongside finance business partners and other global teams to deliver strong business cases rooted in positive outcomes.
Another part of the role is delivering assigned projects, ranging from initiation to execution or optimization. You’ll lead these projects, making sure key actions are met. You’ll become the point of contact for your focus area, maintaining those relationships and providing key updates to deliver successful outcomes.
To excel in this role, you’ll need a relationship-focused mindset, recognizing the importance of balancing stakeholder needs to achieve the best outcomes. Collaboration is a must, as you’ll bring together global networks to create top-notch solutions.
