What You’ll Be Doing: As a senior member of the team, you’ll lead acoustic assessments across a wide range of sectors and environments. From environmental noise monitoring and modelling to building acoustics and impact studies, your role will blend hands-on technical work with project leadership and client engagement. Delivering acoustic consultancy services from initial brief through to final reporting Managing client relationships and acting as a trusted advisor Conducting noise and vibration surveys, modelling, and analysis Mentoring junior consultants and supporting their professional growth Collaborating with planners, architects, engineers, and regulators Helping shape project strategies and supporting business developmentWhat You Bring: A degree in Acoustics, Engineering, Physics, or a related field 4–5 years of experience in acoustic consultancy Solid understanding of environmental and building acoustics standards (e.g., BS 4142, BB93) Skilled in tools like SoundPLAN, CadnaA, Odeon, etc. Excellent communicator, both in written reports and with clients/stakeholders IOA membership or working towards chartered status is a plusWhat’s in It for You?
