MERITUS are recruiting for a Facilities Management Data Analyst to join our client in Bristol, Bolton or Stevenage on an initial 6 month contract to work within the Defence industry.
PLEASE NOTE - This is a Hybrid role with 1 day a week expected on site in Bristol, Bolton or Stevenage.
FACILITIES MANAGEMENT DATA ANALYST - INSIDE IR35 - £31.64 PER HOUR - 6 MONTHS - BRISTOL, BOLTON OR STEVENAGE - HYBRID - SINGLE STAGE INTERVIEW PROCESS
Key Responsibilities:
1. Analyse large volumes of complex data throughout the entire data lifecycle and identify issues and opportunities.
2. Tailor the message for different stakeholders.
3. Carry out root-cause analysis for data errors, trend analysis, gap analysis and impact analysis on various datasets and make recommendations where necessary.
4. Understand and map key data requirements from the Facilities Management Team and wider business stakeholders.
5. Producing ad-hoc reports and data visualisation requests.
6. Define and put in place data quality metrics and controls across the operational data systems to monitor data quality.
7. Provide technical expertise and act as first point of contact for analytics queries from non-data-oriented colleagues, whilst also providing guidance on where analysis can help them in their day-to-day roles.
Skills:
1. Strong stakeholder management & communication skills, able to tell a story with the data.
2. A keen interest in data and analytics and how they can improve people's experiences at work.
3. A curious, creative and collaborative mind-set that seeks to learn from feedback and improve continuously.
4. Advanced Excel & SQL - ability to read, write and execute and understand the key concepts.
5. Experience of Business Intelligence tools e.g. Power BI for Reporting and Visualization.
6. An understanding and interest in Facilities Management and building data sources such as BMS, utility usage, office occupancy and space/resource management, maintenance schedules and asset management.
7. Experience working within a Delivery / Property Services or Facilities Management environment (desired but not essential).
