Adult Speech & Language Therapy Service Administrator
We are looking to appoint a full-time Adult Speech and Language Therapy Service Administrator to join our friendly administration team based at Prince Philip House, Leicester, LE1 2NZ.
The team provides full clerical support to the Adult Speech and Language Therapists working across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland.
To succeed in this role, you must possess excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), excellent time management, have a friendly, sensitive telephone manner, be approachable and team focused. Excellent keyboard skills, recent experience of data entry, and the ability to prioritize to meet deadlines are essential requirements of this varied and interesting post.
Our Speech and Language Therapy Service is a friendly, supportive team dedicated to providing a high-quality service to the people of Leicester, Leicestershire, and Rutland. We have around 30 clinical staff working with adults with communication and/or swallowing difficulties and their carers.
The working hours for this post will be 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday - Friday.
Main duties of the job
* Effective and efficient telephone service (e.g. taking/passing on messages, booking appointments)
* Registering referrals
* Ordering and managing equipment/resources
* Managing incoming/outgoing post
* To be the first point of contact for the service for patients, carers, and other professionals
* Entering and collecting data from electronic systems
