Job summary This advert is for a full time 12 month fixed term post as a Senior Clinical Fellow (ST3 equivalent) level in General Surgery at Epsom & St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust. This is an exciting opportunity to gain experience in a wide range of surgical areas with exposure to theatres and outpatient clinics. This post would be suitable for a candidate in the process of applying for national selection for a training post or for a more experienced surgeon looking for a post in a thriving department. Possession of MRCS or equivalent and full registration with the GMC is essential. This post provides ample training opportunities in General Surgery, and you will be expected to take an active part in audit, research and teaching. Main duties of the job The post holder will be working with Consultant-led teams and will be responsible for the management of acute admissions. They will have opportunity to regularly assist in emergency surgical procedures during their on call commitments. The post holder will participate on the Middle Grade General Surgery 1:11 on call rota.
