We're looking for a Safety, Heath and Environmental (SHE) coordinator to join our N.W business Location : Manchester or Liverpool Hours : 37.5 hours per week - 9 Month FTC contract Health Safety and Wellbeing is at the heart of all that Kier Construction do. The safety and health of our staff, partners and stakeholders is paramount to our ongoing success. Delivering technically complex construction projects that can range from £10M - £100M in value in safety critical environments requires a real focus on cultural safety and our SHE teams imbed this culture across our operations. The SHE Coordinator will work in a supporting role to the SHE Managers within our North West region across Greater Manchester and Merseyside on a 9 month Fixed Term basis. What will you be responsible for? As SHE Coordinator you will work closely with the regional SHE Advisors and Managers Your day to day will include: At early stages assisting the regional SHE Advisors in reviewing SHE requirements Capturing, collating and issuing information across B.U and supply chain as required by the SHE Managers Collating and reporting on SHE issues and performance Advising on all aspects of SHE in improving and maintaining high standards and compliance with Kier Group standards and minimum standards. Assisting in carrying out audits and inspections in line with Kier's standards and promote best practice and identify areas of improvement What are we looking for? This role of SHE Coordinator is great for you if you: Hold a NEBOSH Cert (Min) Have experience of working on construction sites in a safety focussed role Can demonstrate knowledge of the environment and sustainability act, good IT skills, working knowledge IS0 14001 & 18001 Are a strong communicator, confident in dealing with a large selection of stakeholders Have valid CSCS Card and Full UK Driving License We're all about finding potential here at Kier, and transferrable skills are always welcome So, even if you don't tick every box, please apply and we can have a chat.
