Our Legal Team is seeking a Private Client Paralegal to join our rapidly expanding team. As Private Client Paralegal, you will be working with our team covering Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Inheritance Tax and Planning Files and Probate matters.
Here's a bit more on what you can expect to be doing day-to-day: • Legal documentation preparation (including drafting LPA's Will and legal documents) • Communication with both clients and members of the wider Duncan & Toplis group • Legal research • Opening and closing files and adhering to internal risk and compliance procedures • Diary management • Preparing documents for signature • General administration tasks • Greeting clients and preparing meeting rooms
We think you’ll need the following experience and qualifications to succeed in the role: • A law degree or passed the GDL and be working towards completion of the SQE or similar post graduate qualification • Excellent organisational and time management skills • Attention to detail • Strong IT skills • Experience working on private client matters • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with colleagues and clients • Flexibility, in order to support corporate transactions • A desire to promote the team internally and externally • Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time in a fast-paced environment • Technically capable, excellent communicator, and a desire to improve processes • Ability to commute to our Grantham office
