We currently have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Physical Development and Education Teacher to join the team.
Overview of the role
You’ll be responsible for teaching students from various ages and abilities, leading on the PE/Physical Development Curriculum and planning and delivering whole school events such as sports days.
The right candidate will have:
1. Experience of leading physical development activities for pupils with profound, complex and severe needs
2. The ability to move physiotherapy equipment with appropriate training and guidance from specialists
3. The ability to support students aged from 11-19 in moving and handling and personal care
4. To be able to apply specialist skills to supporting in meeting the need of complex SEND
