About the Role
Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Secondary Science Teacher to join their committed teaching team at a highly regarded secondary school in Hemel Hempstead. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, engaging students in the wonders of Biology, Chemistry, and Physics while supporting them in achieving their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
1. Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated Science lessons
2. Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback
3. Prepare students for GCSE examinations and other relevant assessments
4. Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports all students
5. Use innovative teaching strategies to inspire curiosity and a passion for Science
6. Collaborate with colleagues to develop the Science curriculum and share best practices
7. Contribute to the wider school community, including extracurricular activities
About You
1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
2. A degree in Science or a related subject
3. Proven experience teaching Science at secondary level (KS3 and KS4)
4. Strong subject knowledge in Biology, Chemistry, and/or Physics
5. Excellent communication and classroom management skills
6. A commitment to continuous professional development and student success
