An exciting opportunity has arisen to be part of an inspirational team as a Seasonal Plant Sales Assistant at our Lacock Garden Centre. The ideal candidate will ideally have a passion for customer service, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills and great motivation are essential to create a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Days of work will be every other weekend and a day off in the week. This is a temporary position until the end of August 2025. Seasonal Plant Sales Assistant responsibilities; Ensuring all customers are greeted and offered assistance Handling customer queries courteously and efficiently Identifying customers plant needs through interaction, and taking appropriate action Maintaining good, up-to-date knowledge of the layout of the centre Excellent standard of merchandising and housekeeping are established and maintained in accordance with company guidelines All products are accurately priced and labelled in accordance with Company Policy Ensure personal compliance with Whitehalls H&S guideline Packing of goods is carried out in a professional manner, and carry outs are offered where required Looking after the plants and managing the stock, including stock replacing and displays.
