We are looking for an exceptional individual to lead behaviour support activities at our alternative provision school The Wycombe Grange. The Behaviour Support Lead is responsible, under the direction and support of the Head of School, for the daily management of student behaviour. The post holder will be responsible for developing strategies and interventions to help engage students with learning and to improve student attendance.
Our focus at The Wycombe Grange is to equip our students with the necessary tools to successfully reintegrate into mainstream education. We have designed a 12-week 'Finding My Voice' programme which focuses on the needs of each individual student, by means of a blend of timetabled lessons and targeted interventions, assisting each individual to access the help and education that enables them to succeed.
Our ideal candidate might already have experience in this kind of setting, or you might have related experience of behaviour management and working with challenging, vulnerable children and young people in another type of setting. Either way, you will be excited to see what can be achieved in our provision.
Part time or flexible work arrangements available.
