About the Role:
We are seeking a Market Access Manager for a niche pharmaceutical client, to lead and implement market access strategies across the UK and Ireland. This role is pivotal in shaping pricing, reimbursement, and post-HTA strategies for both launch and mature pharmaceutical products. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you'll ensure the successful delivery of business objectives and align with national healthcare system requirements. Key Responsibilities:
1. Market Access Strategy and Implementation
* Develop and execute tailored market access strategies for payers, policymakers, and stakeholders.
* Provide valuable inputs to brand planning and ensure alignment with overarching business goals.
Pricing and Reimbursement
* Drive payer insights for pricing and reimbursement strategies to maximise market potential.
* Contribute to forecasts, business cases, and HTA processes to achieve national and local market success.
Customer-Facing Materials
* Create resources such as value propositions, budget impact models, and business cases to support market access goals.
* Ensure innovative solutions align with healthcare system drivers and brand strategies.
Collaboration and Team Leadership
* Partner with cross-functional teams, external agencies, and stakeholders to create value-driven solutions.
* Foster relationships with national and regional stakeholders to support access initiatives.
What We’re Looking For:
* Proven experience (4–5+ years) in pharmaceutical market access, including pre-launch and loss of exclusivity planning.
* Strong understanding of HTA processes and lifecycle management in the UK & Ireland.
* Expertise in creating impactful materials tailored to healthcare system requirements.
* Excellent project management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
* Familiarity with the ABPI Code of Practice.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience in CNS, oncology, or digital therapeutics.
* Knowledge of tender landscapes and alliance collaborations.
Requirements:
* Degree in science, pharmacy, or medical field.
* Eligibility to work in the UK and a valid driving licence.
