Requirements:
We are looking for candidates with a degree (or equivalent experience) in a relevant STEM subject or Information Security-related field. You should have recognized industry qualifications such as CCP, CISSP, or CISM (or be able to achieve them). You must also have proven experience in assessing and managing risk according to industry best practices (like NIST and ISO 27001), alongside significant experience using security baselines, mitigations, and controls. An engineering background or a strong familiarity with a lifecycle phased approach is essential.
Your responsibilities are:
As our Cyber Security Engineer, you will build a risk-based set of cyber security requirements for systems or sub-systems, providing technical guidance and support for all aspects of cyber security and resilience. You will conduct cyber security analysis work, developing threat taxonomies, security architectures, security baselines, and risk mitigation strategies. Additionally, you will produce test plans and schedules, as well as conduct both informal and formal cyber security testing. Your role will also include supporting engineering gated reviews and design assurance activities, and producing security artifacts such as risk registers, security assurance cases, plans, and schedules. Furthermore, you will provide security input into related engineering documentation.
