Are you a Registered Nurse Associate looking to join an innovative team and drive compassionate patient-centred care?
We are looking for an established or new Registered Nursing Associate to join Bridge Ward, which is a 17-bedded male acute unit that provides safe, effective, recovery-focused care in partnership with service users, families, and carers to support the service users' recovery journey.
You will be supported within a multidisciplinary team consisting of occupational therapists, psychiatrists, physiotherapists, activity workers, and assistant practitioners.

Main duties of the job
The role of the Nursing Associate is to work with the multi-professional team and the Registered Nurse to assess, plan, organise, and deliver clinical care in line with service and patient needs, as agreed with supervising clinicians.
Nursing Associates are accountable professionals who are equipped with the knowledge, understanding, skills, attitudes, and behaviours relevant to employment as a Nursing Associate and will work to a nationally recognised Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) code of conduct. They must meet the NMC standards of proficiency and recognise and work within the limits of their competency.

Key responsibilities:
1. Deliver high quality, person-centred care under the direction of a Registered Nurse or other registered care professional, dependent on setting.
2. Work as part of a designated clinical and care team delivering care that focuses directly on the needs of the person.
3. Carry out specific delegated clinical and care tasks and responsibilities to a high standard and competency, under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse or other registered care professional.
4. Continue to develop and improve practical and theoretical knowledge, competence, and skills whilst in clinical practice and maintain all evidence required.
5. Contribute towards developing a culture of learning and innovation, developing high-quality learning environments.

Qualifications
* Foundation Degree in Nursing Associate practice
* Current NMC Registration
Knowledge/Experience
* Previous experience of working within a healthcare setting
* Experience of working in teams under appropriate supervision as part of a multi-disciplinary team
* Understanding of the scope of the role of the Nursing Associate in context of the nursing and interdisciplinary team and the organisation, and how the role may contribute to service development
Skills
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* IT skills appropriate to the role
* Ability to work well in a team
* Ability to work on own initiative
* Ability to organise and prioritise own workload
* Able to recognise own limitations in the context of the Nursing Associate role
