Your new opportunity
Quarriers James Shields Project is currently recruiting for a full-time Transition Mentor to provide a comprehensive support service for young people aged 16-25 years who are homeless. The service offers support to 10 young people in their tenancies providing emotional support that involves building positive relationships.
As a Transition Mentor, you will join a well-established team who play a key part in promoting positive role modelling and ensuring that each young person's voice is heard and their individual needs are met. You will contribute towards promoting healthy lifestyles and ensuring people have access to information and opportunities within the local community.
This is a full-time permanent contract working 39 hours per week. Transition Mentors work on an 8-week rolling rota which includes early and sleepover shifts.
