As Sales Estimator its your job to piece everything together making sure the components of the sales add up and the drawing matches what the customer has asked for. You’ve got a good head for remembering codes and part numbers, once you’ve been here a few months they will be second nature to you. You estimate every order, making the decision are we going to manufacture, coat and process inhouse or are parts of the process to be outsourced? You have an ability to pick something apart to get to the root of the customers need, navigating complex problems along the way. Working closely with the sales team, supply chain and production, you know how important forging the right partnerships in a business are, and here we have a business with close knit partnership and collaborative thinking, but they have fun at the same time I see transferable skills from order processing, technical sales, procurement and planning into this role, and promise you that you won’t be given a desk and computer and put in a corner, you will be welcomed and nurtured. The role is available here due to restructure and promotion, so you play your cards right and this could be an open door to that next promotion with your name on it. Working hours are 8-5pm but your Friday afternoon is your own as they shut up shop at 2pm. Salary is £35k plus The holiday allowance is above the norm too, 26 days plus all of your bank holidays.
