About the Role
This is an exciting leadership role, managing the Sport Finance team to deliver the financial monitoring and assurance of grants to UKS World Class Programmes and Partners. You will work with a portfolio of sports and partners to provide high quality financial insight into the use of UKS funds, ensure that compliance arrangements are being met, programmes are paid according to need and financial risks monitored.
You will also be able to have a direct impact on the Sporting System through providing financial expertise to colleagues working across National Governing Bodies, World Class Programmes and within the UK Sport finance team.
About You
You will be a fully qualified accountant, with experience of managing a range of complex financial processes. Being an excellent relationship builder and having great stakeholder management skills will be key to your success in this role, whilst also being someone who challenges and holds others to account when relevant.
You will also be a forward thinker, always keeping the bigger picture in mind and seeking opportunities to make improvements to processes. It would be advantageous to read the full Job Description to gain a full understanding of your fit for the role.
