The Mathematics Department is a high-achieving and forward-thinking team, dedicated to delivering engaging and challenging lessons that inspire success. Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver high-quality mathematics lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4. Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to a range of learning abilities. Assess, monitor, and track student progress, providing regular feedback and targeted support. Foster a positive learning environment where students feel encouraged, challenged, and supported. Use innovative teaching strategies to make mathematics accessible and exciting. Work collaboratively with the Mathematics Department to share best practices and develop schemes of work. Participate in school-wide activities, including extra-curricular maths clubs, revision sessions, and enrichment opportunities. Maintain high standards of behaviour and engagement in the classroom. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to support student success. The Ideal Candidate The successful applicant will: Be fully qualified to teach and work in the UK (QTS/QTLS required). Hold a degree in Mathematics or a related subject. Demonstrate a genuine passion for teaching mathematics. Be motivated and resilient, with a strong commitment to achieving excellence. Have the ability to inspire, challenge, and engage students of all abilities. Show strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive learning environment.
