Role Overview
We are looking for a highly motivated and hands-on Duty Manager to support the day-to-day operations of our venue. As a Duty Manager, you will be responsible for leading shifts, overseeing service standards, and ensuring a seamless guest experience while acting as the senior point of contact when the General Manager or Assistant General Manager is not on site.
This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about hospitality, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and has strong leadership skills.
What Were Looking For
We are seeking a proactive and responsible Duty Manager to help maintain the smooth running of the venue. The successful candidate will possess the following attributes:
Leadership & Shift Management, A confident and hands-on leader who can take charge of the venue during shifts. You will be responsible for leading the team, managing service flow, and resolving any issues that arise while ensuring Draughts' high standards are maintained.
Customer Experience & Service Excellence, A passion for delivering outstanding customer service and ensuring guests have a memorable experience. You will proactively engage with customers, handle complaints professionally, and lead the team in creating an inclusive, welcoming atmosphere.
Operational Efficiency & Problem-Solving, An ability to manage the day-to-day running of the venue, ensuring smooth service across Front of House and Kitchen teams. You will be quick-thinking and adaptable, resolving any operational challenges as they arise.
Bar & Floor Oversight, Confidence in overseeing bar operations, stock management, and food service. Experience in cash handling, end-of-day reports, and venue security is a plus.
Teamwork & Communication, A strong communicator who can motivate and support the team during service. You will work closely with all departments, ensuring everyone is aligned and working efficiently.
Health & Safety Compliance, A commitment to upholding health & safety, food hygiene, and licensing regulations. You will ensure that all team members follow best practices and that the venue remains a safe environment for both staff and guests.
