We are seeking a talented Web and Email Designer to join our dynamic eCommerce team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and managing digital marketing artwork and producing responsive HTML content for our global websites. You will also design and build email campaigns, utilizing Adobe Photoshop for realistic product montages, VS Code for HTML, and working within our dedicated web and email CMS platforms. This role involves designing assets for web, email, social media, and paid advertising, collaborating with international teams for approvals and translations, and ensuring high-quality, device-compatible output.
This role will offer a hybrid working environment after a period of training, with 3 days in our Avonmouth office and 2 days working at home.
Key Accountabilities
* Produce responsive HTML content, graphics, and banners for global websites.
* Use Adobe Photoshop to create artwork for email campaigns, followed by build and deployment via our Email Service Provider.
* Design cohesive digital assets for global marketing campaigns, including social media and paid advertising platforms.
* Manage artwork and email workflows effectively within the Trello waterfall system, ensuring timely delivery.
* Support ad-hoc projects and updates to web content as required within defined areas of responsibility.
Capabilities, Skills and Experience Required
* Educated to degree level in a design-related field and/or demonstrable experience working as a digital designer or in a similar creative role.
* Substantial working knowledge of HTML and CSS, with an understanding of frameworks such as Bootstrap considered an advantage.
* Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop and Illustrator; familiarity with Adobe XD is a plus.
* Demonstrable understanding of current design trends and best practices, including the nuances between HTML content for web and email.
* Experience working with CMS and ESP platforms, ideally SAP Hybris and Communicator, or similar systems.
* Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail and a structured, workflow-driven approach.
