We have openings for experienced NOC Engineers to join our team based in Erskine. This role is site-based, and due to customer requirements, you must be eligible for UK Security clearance.
Duties and Responsibilities
* NOC 3rd line engineering support, including but not limited to the following activities: Provide network-related support to DXC deployed test and verification lab environments located in Erskine, including network implementation, testing, and verification of Node builds.
* Provide networking configurations and staging of equipment.
* Physical patching and carrying out testing for BAU-driven changes, providing associated test reports.
* Network configuration and design collateral management.
* Update and appropriately record documentation in the DXC / DXC Customer provided systems.
* Adhere to Project Enhancement Release (PER) processes as needed.
* Validate the configurations applied by 3rd parties to Nodes against the approved configuration as part of the Node acceptance process.
* Escalate incidents reported via the service management tools (SM9) for the in-scope devices as requested by NOC Level 2.
* Provide ad hoc, reactive support for high-priority and short-notice requests related to in-scope devices.
* Attend meetings as required by the business.
