Description At Next we have a great opportunity for a Studio Planning Lead to join our Studio in Leighton Buzzard to manage the planning of our Home Brands shoots. You will work closely with the various teams within our Studio operations including planning, production, creative, set build and repro to help deliver the full end to end process of asset creation. This is a fast-paced role that covers all our interior photography for Home Brands to maintain the photographic vision and creative beliefs on schedule and meeting the brief. About the role You will report to the Studio Planning Manager and be a part of a Planning Team who coordinate shoots for Fashion and Home. You will manage the Studio Planning Coordinator. The Studio Planning team is fundamental in ensuring the Next Studios run smoothly. You will be instrumental in allowing the Studio Planning team to meet deadlines in line with the business’ photography schedule. The Studio Planning Lead will ensure that the right resource is available at the right time to meet the photography volume and priority demands of our busy studio. You will be able to keep up with the ever changing requirements of a large studio team. You will liaise with the client who will be both internal Next colleagues and external Brands. Your aim is to meet the shoot requirements of our Home brands. You will provide strong guidance to your team from a planning perspective in line with your Manager. Responsibilities Provide support to the Studio Planning Manager when required. Lead, coach and develop your team to consistently deliver the highest standards of capacity planning required by the business. Confidence in delegating and empowering your team to make timely decisions. Own and improve processes/workflows, updating with the relevant information. You will work hand in hand with our Planning, Production and Creative Leads to improve the flexibility and efficiency of the studios. Flexibility to work at other Next Studios when required (Enderby/Leighton Buzzard/Premier Park). Communicate and work effectively with the product teams within Next and external Brand partners. To lead meetings and presentations to various stakeholders and colleagues. Regularly create accurate plans and predictions for the requirements needed for us to achieve a fast turnaround to tight deadlines. Liaise closely with the Creative, Online, Product and Brand Marketing teams to support with events and bespoke projects. About you Outstanding leadership qualities, taking full responsibility for the day-to-day management of this area. Proven track record in planning within a creative and technical photo studio environment. Extensive experience of managing complex projects. The ability to plan and prioritise workload in a demanding environment. Excellent coordination experience with the ability to interpret large volumes of data. Reporting experience and confidence with numbers. Knowledge of photographic production processes. Exemplary attention to detail. Have a helpful, friendly and professional manner at all times. Mac literate. Experience of using various tracking,recording and planning systems eg. Asana. Google G-Suite (Sheets, Docs, etc) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc) literate. Creative flair and interest will also help with this role.
